[ There's cooking channel music playing in the Murmur today. It's being simulated by Caelus as he thinks about this music, missing the food channels from home.

Cue the mental view of a breakfast table: fresh-cooked eggs, by the talented Seishirou! He's wearing the worst "KISS THE CHEF" apron you've ever seen in your life.

But among the egg plates is an extremely weird one. The kind of dish that would get censored on television for being too intense. One that wouldn't be in a wholesome food program, but instead in a reality competition show that would pay someone big bucks for doing the dare.

Caelus sits on a dining table. He has the egg dish from hell. It's obvious enough what's going to happen. ]

I thought it over, and I refuse to let my fears give in! I'm taking it for the team! [ If they can confirm this, they'll have a major source of food!! ] This is also… part of the trailblaze!! Don't worry, there's a doctor right beside me.

[ Caelus stabs the horrifying egg dish and quickly shoves a bite into his mouth, wanting to get it over with before he changes his mind. Seishirou calmly smiles as he watches. ]


[ ooc note: This is confirmed by the mod, but zombie chicken eggs are perfectly safe and edible! They just look very strange. Caelus will live. This is set shortly after this thread. ]

Very well. In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you would keep me informed of your condition, especially if it worsens. I will continue to find some medicine and drinks for you to rehydrate with if the worst comes to pass.

[ He's always been a big eater, after all. He just holds back in this world for many (obvious) reasons… But hey, a healthy appetite and no stomachaches so far. All good signs! ]

No more eggs. I have some canned soup for you in the hotel. There is no reason why you should continue to tempt fate with those eggs until we find out whether or not they are truly safe to eat.

[ Nooo! There's only one "cursed" egg! The rest are normal— they're preserved goods. Ah, but it doesn't matter, because Caelus loves soup as well. Their tether lights up when the trailblazer gets offered soup, indicating excitement that can be felt. ]

What kind of soup?

I have either tomato or chicken. I am certain we could heat it up over a fire pit in lieu of a microwave or working stove, though I think gas stoves should be able to function even under our present circumstances.

I'm starting to get a little used to using fire to cook. Let's share the tomato one.

[ Using fire whenever they can is efficient, since gas is a highly precious resource here. Caelus actually wanted the chicken one more, but he's holding back since it'll be good to save for later as well. After all, it's more filling than the tomato one, and chicken soup is good for anyone who might get sick. ]

Are you sure? [ Kind of gets the feeling Caelus is lying. ] How about we open them both and share each other's? There is enough for that, and we do not have to take such small portions when soup is barely filling as it is.

[ Damn!! Sunday is too sharp!! ]
