3 Dead Gary's (A couple Nights Into The Event)

Uh- Hey.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Ash.

A couple months ago I went on a little adventure with Ozpin to explore subway tunnels down here. A handful of memories that we received and that have been documented implied that people might have holed up underground. Whether they were still alive or dead didn't really matter, it was worth looking into.

...It uh- Didn't go super great. There was a giant nest of hosts chillin' out in there. I got a little mauled- That was kind of awesome. The succumbence not so much.

[She'll just direct people to her last comments about thishere. But she's not going to linger on it.]

Look.

It's probably not exactly the best time for this, but it might also be the best chance we've got to look into it again.

If the hosts are out and walking about and not totally super violent. It means there might be less of them down there and we can figure out what exactly is down there.

I'm not exactly the "rah rah" leader type but if anyone wants to team up and figure this out, I'm game to pool some resources together.

I've got my shadow bendy magic powers that I can bring to the table. Good for beating things up, quick escapes, trapping, and hiding people.

I'm guessing it's going to be dark, gross, and probably still crawling with hosts. So we're going to need ways to deal with that-

...Right. So how are people feeling about this? Anyone in?

[OOC: I asked about the subway tunnels here! And am looking to get a little investigation going.

I'll compile up ideas or resources that characters come up with and submit to the mods to roll on how successful they are.

They will hit a road block in the tunnels, but we can get crumbs for doing it.

Once we get some idea of what's going to happen, I can either make a log, or people can feel free to do some ic stuff either here, or in their own logs. I'm not a cop.]

It sounds like you learned a little bit about this place last time, yeah? It could be worth it to look into it further while we have the chance.

As for what I bring to the table... I can see in the dark pretty well lately, and I'm good with combat if it comes to that, though I could probably give us a heads-up for if there's any left down there ahead of time too. What else are we missing?

On the other Earth that I was on, people being afraid was enough- or, I mean, that Hero with an angel for a mom had this Little Holy Potion that I could use too, but the Holy magic was different from the Dark Magic I had been using.

If it was gonna be the same here, I wouldn't be having a problem.

It's amazing what ending up in life threatening situations can inspire you to do.

Oh- Night vision is super handy. You would think with all the shadowy stuff I have going on that would come with the package, but apparently not yet.

...I'm not a hundred percent sure what we're missing. I think we need some light for anyone else coming, and maybe some like PPE when we get down there. It's probably going to be all gross and fungused from all those hosts sleeping there all the time.

Getting sparked is like- Finding out what kind of emotion you need to get in your head to make things work.

When I got angry, or scared, or got the adrenaline going it would help me get in touch with my powers.

Maybe we have to do the same to you.

I got mad at the guy- and I made him stop by yelling at him. It was weird, but I'm not sure if that's going to work for everything
