Hello, Manhattan. Today, I have another question for you all.

What type of Vessel are you, and what is it, exactly, that you can do? What type of power do you have?

Consider this Manhattan's first unofficial census of Vessels and their abilities. What we hope to do is identify what abilities the same Vessel types share in common, so that newly arriving Vessels know whom they can speak to about their new powers. Better understanding what each of us can do may help us better understand ourselves, too. We can all learn from one another, hm~?

This is voluntary, of course, but the more people who answer, the more helpful this will be. Don't be shy.

Here and there, within the above constrictions. It's certainly been easier, with the resurgence of electricity. For a while there, I was working blind, in the absence of scans.

A technologically-produced image that shows the state of your infrastructure. It's helpful when we want to take a peek at your body's condition without, shall we say, lifting the car hood.

It can tell me what kind of anatomy you have, to start with. In the case of many individuals, it can't be safely assumed their new animal characteristics only extend externally.

And you can take these scans now? Could you do them on people even if you couldn't read them?

I'm afraid if I see the scans — they're images, you see — I'd be able to read them at once. Unless you'd like for me to scan with my eyes closed, but... really, would that be of any advantage? I understand your need for privacy, but...

... by read, assume I meant "interpret." You said you're veterinarian, after all, not a physician.

I'm certainly more skilled on the animal spectrum, but I've brushed up on human anatomy in recent months.

Ultimately, human beings are still animals we've just chosen to favour in our study. You'll find the principles are often transferrable.

That would be why the clinic has opened, certainly. Though Dr. Bashir's appearance gives me a great deal of relief. He's much more suited for our purposes.
