First, Hosts cannot be returned to their original selves. They are lost forever.
However, I was told that as Vessels, there may be hope to rescue even those of us who have Succumbed.

Secondly, has anyone encountered the three-eyed bird?
I spoke with him. He was Three.

He tried to tell me of rituals and Two's remaining fragment. It seems he's unable to communicate for very long.

Oh! Three! I talked to him. I think we have to say his name to get him to stick around? I think that's what he was telling me, but he kind of disappeared.

I tried talking to a bird with three eyes later but I think it was just a really fucked up pigeon...

Turned out the answer wasn't pizza.

It's... so there's some bread stuff... it's a circle... and there's cheese and sauce on it... and then you can put anything you want on top.

I like lots of stuff on it. Like the little fishes, or you can put crabs on it, and you can't go wrong with the sausage pieces.

It's bad enough a bird makes fun of you, you know. When you find out the bird is actually a sus kinda guy, offended is probably on the list of the possible feelings.

Well, yeah, that's usually the stuff you put on it. You can put other stuff on it too, but the meat works really well.

I like ice cream but it's hard to get good stuff that's sugar free.

...yeah. [ It's not a happy thought. ] We...might be it, as far as humanity's existence here goes. The plants and animals still seem to be able to reproduce, so they can presumably adapt, but I can't imagine the human Hosts doing so.

Ice cream is, uh, it's sweet, and cold, and it comes in different flavors, and you can put candy and stuff in it. You can have it whenever you want, you don't have to wait for a party.

I guess you'd have to try it to really understand it. [ It sounded like a dessert -- not much nutrition, but plenty of sugar. ]

...You know how to make pizza? I'm mostly decent at roasting things over a fire. [ It was tough, cooking things while traveling. Much easier to stop at some tavern and let the experts take over. ]

I'm... really bad at making stuff. I guess I can make chicken nuggets, kind of. Mostly I can make sandwiches?

But no one has yet to explore beyond Manhattan, right? How do we know for sure there aren't any survivors out there? I was thinking it could've been the local survivors that escaped and blocked off this city before the influence spreads further.
